If the alternator noise is produced than in most cases the bearings worn. If you are not sure whether the sound coming from the alternator remove the belt and run the engine briefly without cooling run, if the noise is gone you are sure that the alternator to hear the sub has caused. Are per pair delivered (both on the front and the back is the alternator bearings).
