Guma se vkládá do plechového pouzdra na sloupek řízení (tlumí vibrace) v jeho horní části. Pouzdro s gumou je také v nabídce jako kompletní díl.

Steering grommets, the outer tube of the steering column leaves the body in a rubber seal to keep moisture out. Once you get far with your restoration check the condition of the rubber, once there cracks in it that you can replace but better, there is nothing as annoying as afterwards to find out. At the top of the outer sleeve also spot a rubber, to keep fighting but to mount. Steering column vibration This is not the case every year or model but if it is applied is the rubber between the steering column and the suspension bracket. For Spijlbus the upper rubber available separately but also including the housing, it will not often happen that the housing if worn it should be replaced, the cleanliness of a new painted in black lacquer cabinet is often the reason that replacement is required.
